BEEP! BEEP! IT’S ME

BEEP! BEEP! IT’S ME is a very engaging blog which teases your brain with satirical yet intense discussions and a different perspective to the meaning of Life, God and the Omniverse.

Tell us about yourself.

I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe. Like Arthur Dent from “Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”, if you do not have a Babel Fish in your ear this blog will be completely unintelligible to you and will read something like this: “boggle, google, snoggle, slurp, slurp, dingleberry to the power of 10″. Fortunately, those who have had the Babel Fish inserted in their ear, will understand this blog perfectly. If you are familiar with this technology, you will know that the Babel Fish lives on brainwave radiation. It excretes energy in the form of exactly the correct brainwaves needed by its host to understand what was just said; or in this case, what was read. The Babel Fish, thanks to scientific research, reverses the problem defined by its namesake in the Tower of Babel, where a deity was supposedly inspired to confuse the human race by making them unable to understand each other.

What is your blog about?
An atheist’s satirical guide to the galaxy and where 42 is considered to be the meaning of life.

Are you the only author/contributor?
Yes. I am the only contributor. Just myself and my thousand or so other personalities who amazingly always agree with me.

How did you get started?
I got started because I wanted to participate in online communities where interesting topics were discussed, arguments formulated and opinions hotly debated.

Why do you blog?
I blog because I am interested in the human condition and all that that entails. That is, I am interested in not only what we think or believe, but how we think, and why we believe what we do.

What is the source of your content?

A lot of my articles are based on exploring the process of thinking with my own cognitive processes under the microscope. By this I mean that I continually analyse the personal process of information gathering in light of pre-existing knowledge and how these processes effect the conclusions that are drawn.

How frequently do your write/post?
I post approximately every second day, about 3 times per week.

Does your blog generate revenue?

This blog does not generate income and I specifically stayed away from the temptation to place advertisements on my blog. I find the ads on other people’s blogs to be annoying to varying degrees, so I omitted them from my own.

Who visits your blog?
A variety of people visit my blog. Some of these are freethinkers, skeptics, atheists, agnostics and of course theists are always welcome to voice their arguments and opinions as well.

Would you like to add anything else?
“Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”
(Lewis Carroll, 1832-1896)

Thanks for running my blog. Does this make me “famous” or “infamous” and how would the conclusion be drawn?
